In 2020, we were given the opportunity to re-brand all of the GameStop internal ERG groups. Growing up in a military family, I couldn't pass at the opportunity to build a logo and patch/icon that properly represented all of the Military Veterans that worked at GameStop.
I wanted to provide something that felt natural to the Veterans group. These men and women deserved something personal and strong. Ensuring the representation of the flag, as well as 6 stars to represent the six branches of service. The patch/icon features a saluting soldier, facing away, toward the flag.
